How long has IHD been in business?
IHD is a wholly owned subsidiary of a 35 year old manufacturing company based in the Midwest with warehouses strategically located throughout the U.S.
Are your displays manufactured in the U.S.?
Yes. We are proud to say that 99% of all manufacturing is done right here on U.S. soil at our Midwest facility.
What materials are used?
There is an appropriate product for every setting and every budget. IHD fixtures are made from an array of hygienically superior materials including stainless steel, clinical grade aluminum, solid oak components specially finished to meet CARB (California Air Resource Board) standards as well as though, heavy-gauge polymers. No matter what your selection all products can be wiped with hospital grade cleaners including quaternary ammonium formulas.
Have the displays been tested?
Absolutely; we have our own testing lab to make sure our products perform to the fullest.
Are your displays wipeable?
All products have been fully tested to withstand repeated cleaning with hospital grade cleaners including quaternary ammonium formulas.
Is assembly required?
The majority of our products are shipped fully assembled. Products that do require assembly come with easy to read instructions. How do I choose the best product for my needs?
Our sales specialists are available to help you determine the best product(s) to meet your needs. However, some things to consider are:
- The space and accessibility of the area.
- Is the area heavily trafficked?
- What are the budgetary considerations?
- What is the surrounding décor where the product will be utilized?
- Is there a specific objective or campaign for this product such as hand washing, covering cough, HIPAA compliance or all of the above?
- Who is the product designed to serve? Adults, children, staff, patients or a variety of people?
Are any of the units double sided?
The Hampshire and Ravinia models, as well as, the Pediatric and Aluminum Totems display posters on both sides (one poster is free with each display ordered). Dispensers are available on one side standard, but double sided configurations can be custom ordered to maximize your infection control efforts. My order arrived but there is a problem
Orders may arrive in multiple boxes on multiple days and our posters are often loaded into the frame for safe transport during shipping. Why are the Guidance System Components sold separately?
This allows for complete customization of an infection control program to suit each customers individual situation; maximizing budget considerations while minimizing the spread of germs.
Why cant I use a push button or touch free dispenser on a Guidance System?
The station height is not ideal for an average sized adult however; you may want to consider using a standard pump sanitizer.
